Good after school meal
I used to go here alot on the way home from UBC and it is a great way to end or begin a day. The price of $3.50 is worth while considering the two slices and a pop is as good as any of those restaurant pizza places. Uncle Fatih could prolly be raking more money if he were to sell his pizza on the west end, it beats teh UBC pizza that's for sure.

Interesting Crust
I had the take out and found it to be an interesting bread like crust. Nice and tasty without being greasy. The selection of toppings is beyond the average. All in all a good pie, and miles ahead of the cardboard-like dollar a slice places.

Ghetto Gourmet Pizza!
Uncle Fatih's pizza is literally the epitome of how good a buck fifty slice of 'za should be. The slices are well cooked, always full of toppings and cheese, always fresh (so much turnover on the 'zas helps this), and there's some really interesting combinations of flavours up for the grabs.

The shop is very small and always seems crowded, and the poor staff - so harried. I also notice whenever I'm there that no one really tips, which sucks. You get two slices and a drink for $3.50. Dropping the other buck fifty into the tip jar ain't a biggie, and it's still a massive bargain, given the cost.

Every potential pizza shop owner in town serving by the slice should be studying how Uncle Fatih does it, and try to even come close. There's two other shops within spitting distance of this one, and its like eating cooked cardboard.

Yeah, I'm a fan. One of the reasons why I love living in East Van.
